International Applicants

International applicants have some additional requirements:

SOPHAS Application

  • Instead of official transcripts, applicants must submit a World Education Services (WES) evaluation with their SOPHAS application.
  • International applicants must also submit English proficiency scores (TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB).*
    • The SOPHAS code for sending scores is 5688.
All materials should be sent directly to SOPHAS, not the MPH program.

UF Application

  • If you are submitting a transcript in another language, international applicants must provide an official exact English translation for the native language transcript and diploma/degree certificate.
  • International applicants must submit an official degree certificate, in addition to transcripts.
  • International applications do not submit a World Education Services (WES) evaluation with their UF Graduate School application.
  • International applicants must also submit English proficiency scores (TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB).*
    • The UF Graduate Admissions code is 5812.
All materials should be sent directly to the UF Graduate Admissions office, not the MPH program.

*Acceptable scores for English proficiency exams are listed here. An applicant is exempt from providing English proficiency scores if their country’s native language is English, or if they have attended a college/university in the U.S. full-time for at least one year. A list of exempt countries can be found here.
